What the research rests on

Italian excellenceResearch and development carried out entirely in Italy. The engineering group works on the product and on research without separating the two, which is why the cycle from an insight to its verification in the field is measured in weeks.

RESEARCH LINE 01

Toward artificial general intelligence

A Digital Human that is useful inside a company must do more than answer. It must take an objective, break it into steps, choose the tools, execute, verify the result and correct itself when it is wrong. This is the same problem artificial general intelligence research addresses on a wider scale: the move from a system that produces text to a system that reaches an outcome.

  • Operational metacognitionThe system assesses its own answer before delivering it, recognises when it lacks the information it needs and stops instead of inventing.
  • Persistent memoryWhat the company teaches stays and accumulates over time. Knowledge is not lost at the end of the conversation and does not have to be entered again.
  • OrchestrationSeveral specialised processes work toward the same objective and coordinate with each other, rather than one model attempting everything alone.
  • The human boundaryIrreversible actions remain subject to a person's confirmation. Capability grows, the perimeter stays declared.

RESEARCH LINE 02

Destination: artificial super intelligence

This is the long horizon of the research, not a commercial promise. The work proceeds on bounded, measurable areas, each with a success criterion defined before it begins. What follows is the perimeter of the areas the group works on, described at the level of detail that can be made public.

Compact context representation

Reducing the number of tokens needed to carry the same meaning, through an intermediate encoding designed for the machine rather than for human reading. At the same context window and the same cost, less space taken by the representation means more space available for reasoning. This is the subject of a patent application being filed.

Verified recursive reasoning

Reasoning chains in which every step produces a checkable assertion, and the check is carried out by a process distinct from the one that generated the assertion. Separating the producer from the verifier is what stops an early error from propagating along the whole chain.

Self-improvement under constraint

Systems that refine their own strategy on accumulated experience, within limits declared in advance and with the ability to return to the previous state. Every change is versioned and reversible: improvement is never a silent change.

Inference scalability

Distributing computation across dedicated machines while keeping latency compatible with a real conversation. This is the constraint that separates a laboratory result from a technology a company can use every day.

Alignment and control

Every capability added comes with its corresponding limit: no action outside the granted perimeter, every action traced and attributable, every decision reconstructable afterwards. Control is not a layer added at the end, it is a design requirement.
